What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We have a no cancellation policy. Cancellations will not be accepted and refunds will not be issued. In matters of special or unique circumstances, and under the complete discretion of Bri's Swim Academy, cancellations and refunds may be issued if ALL of the following criteria are met: 1. We are given no less that 30 days notice prior to the start of the booked lessons 2. We are given notice via email only 3. We have a wait list and your spot can be filled 4. You agree to forfeit your $50 deposit
What is your make up lesson policy?

Swimming lessons will be held rain or shine, but will not be held in the event of thunder or lightening. Make up lessons will be scheduled on Fridays. If you are unavailable, please arrange an alternative date and time with your instructor. By registering your child you are committing to 4 classes at your allotted time slot, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate a missed class, or cancelled class. There will be no refund for missed classes.
Do you have a bathroom and change room available?

We have a change room available, however, please make sure your child arrives changed into their bathing suit to avoid wasting any lesson time. We do not have a bathroom available for use.
What do we need to bring to our first lesson?

Bring a bathing suit, a towel, goggles if your child uses them, deck shoes, water, sunscreen, and the old report card for your instructor to reference.
Do you offer swimming lessons for individuals with disabilities?

Yes! We teach individuals of all ages and abilities. Bri has training and experience working with swimmers with Down syndrome, swimmers on the Autism Spectrum, swimmers with sensory issues, and swimmers with visual and auditory impairments.
I have two swimmers of different skill levels, can I register them for semi-private lessons?

We will not be offering semi-private lessons. Are lessons will be private 1:1.
Where do you offer lessons?

Lessons are held in our backayrd pool in Aurora, ON, or yours if you choose to register for mobile lessons! Please visit our contact page for an exact address, and map.
Is your pool chlorine or salt water?

We have an outdoor chlorine pool that is always heated to 85° F. It is 20 ft by 42 ft (approx. 12.8 m), and has both a shallow end and deep end.
Do offer evening or weekend lessons?

We currently do not offer evening lessons or weekend lessons. If make up lessons can not be made up on a Friday, they may be scheduled instead for an evening or weekend morning.
What ages do you teach?

We teach all ages and all skill levels, including adults!
